Tips for ordering door hardware
Keyed Alike Sierra Door Knobs and Deadbolts
Dynasty hardware offers keyed alike door knob and deadbolt sets. Each pack is keyed alike. If you order a 3 pack of keyed knobs and deadbolts, all of the locks and deadbolts in that 3 pack will use the same key. All Dynasty Hardware keyed locks use a SC1 keyway.
Door hardware lock prep
The most common door prep is a 2-1/8″ diameter hole in the face of the door. In the image above you can see how to determine the backset of the door hardware.
Backset is determined by measuring from the edge of the door to the center of the hole where your door hardware will be installed.
Most doors have either a 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ backset door prep.
