Bone china was invented by the British in 1794. It is named after the herbivorous animal bone meal (preferably cow bone meal) that is added to its clay. It is internationally recognised that the bone meal content should be above 40% and the colour of the ware is creamy white, which is a high-grade bone china.

40% Bone Powder Fine Dinnerware

The bone china dinner plates contain more than 40% bone powder and is milky white;

Fine bone porcelain undergoes two sets of firing – one at a high temperature (2336°F firing) and one at a low temperature (1976°F firing) to make white porcelain.

Using Tips:

1. Do not immerse the hot cup directly in cold water to avoid a rapid change in temperature damaging the porcelain.

2. If there are scratches, you can polish them with toothpaste.

3. If there are tea stains, use lemon juice or vinegar to clean.
